As part of our procurement team, you'll dive into both strategic and operational sourcing, working closely with various stakeholders and experts in Pfaeffikon and our global subsidiaries. Our tight-knit team of three, including you, maintains direct contact with the COO, with the head of procurement reporting directly to him. This ensures your contributions are highly visible and impactful. In this role, you'll take full ownership of the following responsibilities: Contract & Invoice Management: Reviews, complaints, application-based processing of billing in contact with vendors and internal stakeholder for various licenses, subscriptions, service agreements for market data, index, terminal services, databases with broad range of suppliers like Bloomberg, S&P, MSCI, Refinitiv, Sustainalytics, etc.; Demand Management:Review & execute business requests for new or changes of access to services, solve issues impacting operations, supply of services; Strategic Contract Management: Budgeting, supplier strategy to optimize cost & service quality; Risk management: Consult business in compliant usage of data, support responding to provider questions; Reporting: Prepare yearly budgeting data, interim reporting on demand, project related tasks. Furthermore, you will support us in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures (Procure-to-Pay) and will have the chance to liaise with various stakeholders on data related projects (e.g. new investment products, IT applications). Requirements We are looking for an experienced professional with the following skillset: University degree preferably in finance or an Apprenticeship in Banking; At least 5 years' experience in the financial service sector, combined with a strong expertise in invoice & demand management for market data; Solid language skills in English are a must have; German language skills would be a strong advantage; Proficiency in MS Office suite, and able to quickly learn other applications (e.g. contract management); Strong attention to detail combined with good analytical skills and a solution oriented as well as self-organized way of working.
