The position of Account Manager, Aroma Ingredients is essential to the growth and profit generation of the Aroma business, as the capacity not allocated to global key accounts (and potentially future new capacity) offers attractive incremental value creation opportunities.
Key to success is:
* Thorough understanding of the portfolio
* Strong customer relationship management (both ‘farming’ and ‘hunting’)
* Ability to convert company and Business Unit objectives into operational actions
* (Pro-)active communication and good relationship management with various internal stakeholders (product & supply management and customer service)
Your key responsibilities:
* Drive sales growth and profit generation of regional and distributor customer portfolio
* Provide input into the S&OP process with "what if" scenarios to achieve commercial and inventory targets
* Continuously identify and capture opportunities for additional value creation
* Ensure the effective execution of the sales process in the systems
* Manage alignment of strategies/projects and of innovation/new business development activities, ensuring effective and efficient execution
You bring:
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Commercial role, ideally in the Aroma Ingredients space
* Master of Science in business administration, life science discipline or equivalent preferred
* Broad experience in stakeholder management; being able to reconcile conflicting goals (sales, inventory) with the best overall outcome for the company
* Excellent communication skills in English (French and German would be an advantage)
* Strong ability to structure and balance multiple stakeholders and priorities
* Intellectual curiosity and acumen for customer relationship management
