We are looking for our client based in Vaud, an EHS Manager for a 9 months contract.
* Identify Environmental, Health & Safety improvement initiatives and increase fully awareness of the company Health & Safety policies and procedures;
* Manage the accident and incident investigation process,
* Assess key trends in accident and incident data and make sure that these trends are imbedded in the policies and guidelines;
* Communicate the result across the site on a Monthly basis,
* When necessary, replace the EHS Manager at various local and Dach representative bodies, working groups,workers council and act as primary point of contact for external services and regulatory bodies;
* Deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools related to EHS topics and make sure they are aligned with the company and international applicable standards,
* Perform Environmental legal compliance checks,
* Recognise the best practices and the good performance. React to violations to regulations and the company standards,
* Manage and/or participate in internal and external safety audit and inspection programs,
* Assist in preparation and delivery of appropriate Environmental, Health & Safety training,
* Manage elements of our Safety Collaboration / Best Practice Programs,
* Liaise with the HR Dpt for Health initiatives, including the office environment, absenteeism, work-life balance,diversity, equity and inclusion.
Your profile :
* Health and Safety professional with 5 to 10 years' experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment, preferably with background in industry;
* Relevant working experience, preferably industrial background;
* Experience in site auditing and health and safety inspections;
* Knowledge of security topics;
* Familiarity with working in an international and matrix environment
