About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled optomechanical system developer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex optomechanical assemblies, precision mechanical tools, and measurement systems.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement innovative solutions for optomechanical system design and development.
* Create and test precision mechanical tools, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative project ideas and concepts.
* Design and implement measurement and test systems, documenting results and recommendations.
* Conduct thorough system tests, calibrate developed systems, and commission them with clients.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Photonics, or related field.
* Proficiency in CAD/PLM systems (Siemens NX/Teamcenter is an advantage).
* In-depth knowledge of technical optics, optomechanical system development, and image processing.
* Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages (desired).
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated passion for technology and innovation.
* Independent, structured work approach with a hands-on mentality.
* Fluent English and German language skills (at least B2 level).
