You have experience in PCB design, high-speed interfaces, and RF systems? This opportunity is yours! In order to reinforce an already existing Hardware Team, we are hiring a Digital Hardware Engineer Consultant. You will design highly reliable digital electronics that meet the required functional specifications on several long-term projects.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Lead the definition of requirements, system architecture, circuit design, component selection, PCB layout and design, and the creation of technical and manufacturing documentation.
2. Streamline Bill of Materials (BOM) costs.
3. Whole development cycle of electronic boards.
4. Conceive, validate, and implement robust analog and mixed-signal electronics.
Permanent contract, based in Lausanne. Full English speaking team.
Your Profile and Skills:
1. PhD, MSc or equivalent, in electronic engineering or a related field.
2. At least 5-6 years of proven experience in hardware or electrical engineering.
3. Digital electronics and multi-gigabit interfaces experience.
4. Experience using various test equipment (oscilloscope, etc.).
5. Schematic capture and PCB design tools.
6. Previous experience with FPGA tools is appreciated (Quartus, Vivado, etc.).
7. Nice-to-have: Good understanding of microcontrollers and PCB simulation tools.
