The holder of this position will be responsible for the design of low noise electronics ranging from DC up to Ka band (radiofrequency [RF] and microwave [MW] domain). These electronics will be integrated into our future high-performance clocks or will be an update to existing products. The engineer who will be recruited will join the Research & Development team and will be part of a multidisciplinary team (software, mechanics, physics, multiphysics simulation, power electronics, etc.).
The missions
* Participate in the study of RF and MW electronic solutions according to product specifications and standards.
* Validate the technological bricks developed.
* Write/update documentation related to development (lab book, test/qualification plan, test/qualification report, etc.).
* Collaborate with the various services of the Engineering, Operations, and Programs department.
* Participate in the review of customer specifications as part of funded projects.
* Write technical proposals.
The responsibilities
* Define electronics specifications in relation to product requirements.
* Design electronics.
* Define test plans and conduct tests (including associated documentation).
* Carry out electronic analyses (Part Stress Analysis, Worst Case Analysis, impedance adaptation, electromagnetic simulation, etc.).
* Participate in the assembly of the product.
* Establish the acceptance process for production in collaboration with the industrialization department.
* Support product engineers as an expert.
Your profile
* Engineer or equivalent with a specialization in high frequency electronics (RF and MW), with a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience on multi-techno products (e.g., microwave, vacuum techniques, mechatronics, instrumentation, etc.).
* Rigorous, methodical, structured, pragmatic, with a spirit of synthesis, enjoying teamwork.
* Analytical skills, proactive, customer-oriented, and search for solutions.
* Skill in high frequency and electromagnetic simulations & circuit development.
* Experience in space developments would be a plus.
* Use of development tools: CST, Comsol Multiphysics, Ansys HFSS, Genesys, ADS, etc.
* Good communicator in English (French would be a plus), both orally and in writing.
