Our client is a prominent NGO based in Geneva.
Job Description
1. Developing a Change Communications Strategy:
o Design a communications roadmap aligned with the reform timeline.
o Develop clear and compelling messaging for various stakeholders.
o Tailor communications materials to different audiences.
2. Stakeholder Engagement and Messaging Alignment:
o Work closely with senior leadership and technical teams.
o Develop talking points, briefing materials, FAQs, and presentations.
o Establish feedback loops to address stakeholder concerns.
3. Internal Change Management and Staff Engagement:
o Lead internal communication strategies and tools.
o Support engagement activities (town halls, Q&A sessions, workshops).
o Advise managers and team leads on championing change.
4. Country-Level Communications and Readiness:
o Tailor communications strategy to country contexts.
o Develop toolkits and guidance for country partners.
o Ensure consistent outreach to Ministries of Health and implementing partners.
5. Communications Tools and Content Development:
o Develop core communications assets (announcements, infographics, case studies, web content, training materials).
o Ensure communications are accessible and engaging.
6. Monitoring and Adaptation:
o Track effectiveness of change communications.
o Refine messaging based on feedback.
o Provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have at least 15-20 years of experience in strategic communications, change management, or stakeholder engagement, in NGO. They must possess expertise in designing and implementing large-scale change communications strategies and have a strong ability to translate complex policy and programmatic reforms into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Proven experience engaging with senior leadership, technical teams, and country-level stakeholders is essential. The candidate should have excellent writing, presentation, and facilitation skills, and experience with digital and multimedia communication tools is a plus. They must demonstrate an international mindset and be adaptable to diverse cultural contexts. English Must be >=C1 ideally C2
