Responsibilities:
* Prepare high quality monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports according to IFRS and Swiss GAAP.
* Complete FINMA reportings.
* Ensure data integrity through accurate data input in company accounting system (SAP).
* Participate in technical accounting.
* Optimise financial processes such as reconciliation of account, sub-ledger, balance accounts, bank accounts, etc.
* Prepare tax declarations; Manage tax regulations monitoring.
* Assist with document preparation for internal/external auditors; Address auditors' requests; Contribute to regulatory and compliance projects.
* Support various finance and accounting related projects.
* Provide assistance to the Finance team when needed.
Profile:
* Certification in accounting (e.g. Brevet Fédéral de spécialiste en Finance et Comptabilité or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational environment, in a general accounting position.
* Advanced knowledge of MS office (Excel, Access, etc..), and SAP.
* IFRS experience is essential.
* Experience in the insurance sector, and in technical accounting would be advantageous.
* Good analytical and numerical skills.
* Fluency in English and French is required; German would be an advantage.
