Primary Function of Position The Commercial Solutions team integrates and enhances the fast-paced work executed at the intersection of Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance. The guiding principle is to bolster the company’s strategic position and growth through deep collaboration in the quote-to-contract cycle and proactive focus on customer centric solutions that enable our global commercial organizations to deliver on Intuitive company mission.
By optimizing deal structuring activities and approval of our price offerings, you will help the commercial organization to balance Intuitive’s flexible solutions to accelerate adoption of our products and services alongside sales.
Essential Job Duties
* Establish deep understanding of company's products, services, pricing, segmentation, and value positioning
* Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Support & Experience and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on deal structures and pricing set-up
* Craft commercially competitive pricing solutions that supports the capital, service, digital, and consumable business lines
* Provide ongoing training and resources to the Sales teams and to Commercial Solutions peers to ensure they are equipped to navigate the quote-to-contract process
* Ensure transactions are complete, accurate, compliant, and aligned with internal policies and business guidelines (i.e. maintain and update SOPs and work instructions)
* Handle enterprise pricing escalations and deal desk operations by working closely with the Sales team
* Administers contracts and price details through their lifecycle – i.e. pricing operations, end-of-term contrat renewal
* Report metrics and share regional insights around Intuitive products and pricing programs
* Utilize pricing data to communicate pricing programs with business and commercial partners. Educate cross-functional teams on regional transaction dynamics (pricing, tendering, discounting) and implied considerations
* Execute tender /RFP scoring simulation and provide reports
* Monitor, visualize and socialize results and analysis of transaction activity to relevant stakeholders
* Closely support the commercial and finance leadership teams on a regular and ad-hoc basis
