General Description Reporting to the SVP Head of Europe, the Senior Director Strategy & Business Operations, Europe is a high-visibility, strategic partner that supports the Head of Europe and the European Leadership Team in providing strategic advice through data driven insights. He/She contributes to the growth of the business by helping evaluate future opportunities as well as providing ongoing support in running the business. He/She will be responsible for engaging with market research, forecasting, marketing infrastructure and other relevant Functions in Bei Gene’s Global organization. This leader will play a key role in scaling the EU strategic and tactical commercial plans and in supporting in-country initiatives. He/She will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and work closely with the team to ensure they are focusing on priorities, implementing the European commercial vision and meeting performance expectations. This role will also lead or project managing key initiatives or senior-level meetings. Essential Functions Of The Job Strategic Planning: Lead the development of the European strategic plan, aligning it with the mission, vision, and values. Partner and advise the ELT in driving European initiatives forward. Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. Market Analysis: Conduct European analysis to identify opportunities, trends, to enhance European strategy and facilitate decision making. (Optimise European footprint and ambition)Goal Setting: Define clear, measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress. (Lead annual process for Europe)Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions. (Meet with BD teams as needed)Financial Analysis: Work closely with finance teams to assess financial performance and develop budgetary plans in line with strategic goals. (Align ambition for AOP, LRP). Partner with Finance in building business cases, budget planning and financial management. Resource Allocation: Collaborate with SVP Head of Europe on Allocation of resources effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. (Align ambition for AOP, LRP)Change Management: Guide the European organisation through strategic changes, ensuring buy-in and adoption among stakeholders. Drive consistent communication and collaboration within the LTs and across the organisation according to the European Governance Team Leadership: Strong internal and cross-functional relationships, fostering collaboration and alignment with organisational goals. At least 12 years of industry experience.
