Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Digital Merchandise Planner (Fixed term maternity cover) to join our Digital team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
The Digital Merchandise Planner's primary focus is to support in the management of inventory, discounts by product, and product performance for the Timberland European own-operated website and the direct-to-consumer digital accounts (Zalando partner program, JD, Asos, Fbay, Veepee).
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
* Analyzing on a weekly basis product performance at gender, category, style, and size level and informing the team about opportunities and challenges.
* Managing the inventory at a granular level, assessing sell-through, stock coverage, and any other relevant inventory KPIs and taking actions to reach brand financial and inventory targets.
* Managing the inventory reservation in the systems (SAP) and inventory levels across warehouses.
* Working to define the right product offering/assortment and the right level of discounts for each of the trading initiatives in the calendar.
* Maintaining the product performance reports and dashboards, guaranteeing elevated standards of information and accuracy.
* Being the point of reference in the digital team for product performance, inventory management, and discount by product.
Skills for Success
You should be a performance-driven, resilient, result-oriented, and self-starter team player with:
* 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Planning, Trading, Buying, or an equivalent highly analytical role.
* Understanding of retail, planning, and digital KPIs and metrics.
* Experience in Ecommerce/Digital channels is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills and data crunching abilities. Business and financial acumen.
* Excellent knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is a plus.
* Language skills: fluent in English. Any other language will be considered a plus.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in related fields are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
