Torizon, a SaaS offering by Toradex, is a platform that enables customers to develop and maintain embedded Linux-based systems while cutting development time and mailing costs. Torizon provides an extremely reliable and secure platform targeting markets such as Industrial Automation, Medical, Renewables, Smart Cities, and other embedded and IoT use cases. The demand for Torizon is driven by increased cyber security requirements and fast-evolving AI use cases.
As th Global Sales Manager for our SaaS product, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts and developing strategies to achieve highly set sales targets. You are driving and optimizing the sales process leading a small focused team, including a Solution Architect and BDR. Furthermore, you work closely with R&D, Product Management and Marketing to shape the SaaS offering.
This role requires a proactive personality with a deep understanding of SaaS sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
The role can be located in either North America, Europe or Switzerland. It requires approximately 20% travel activity within your sales region (with potential overseas travel).

Your Role & Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition:
Identify and target potential customers globally
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and processes to attract and maintain new clients
Utilize various sales channels and tools to generate leads and close deals
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and retention
Market Insights and Product Feedback:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape and market conditions.
Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance product features and functionality
Collaborate with Marketing to align sales campaigns with product positioning and messaging
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs
Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports
What you bring
Proven success in a sales role within the SaaS industry
Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, customer acquisition and retention strategies
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English
Experience of working in a diverse and multicultural environment and in leading small teams including Solution Architects, BDRs, etc.
Successful collaboration and the ability to make an impact on cross-functional teams such as R&D, Marketing, other Sales Teams, etc.
Fast learning capability of complex SaaS systems
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
A goal-oriented, self-driven and out-of-the-box thinking personality
Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed
And this is a nice to have:
Experience inTorizon target verticals suchashealthcare, industrial automation, transportation, smart city or green energy
Experience in embedded computing, IoT,andrelated areas
Technical engineering background
German skills written and spoken, other languages are a plus
