Your role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Financial Controller who is straightforward thinking and likes to work in a great team at our Headquarters in Zofingen. In this position, you primarily focus on ensuring that internal as well as customer projects are financially viable, and variances are within reason and substantiated. In addition to project activities, you will be involved in various activities to ensure the financial success of the manufacturing plant Zofingen, Siegfried's largest and most complex site.
Key Activities
* Act as the key sparring partner for the Project Management Team by providing timely, reliable and insightful financial information to support cost control in customer projects.
* Provide transparency on financial impacts through structured reporting of major deviation drivers to ensure the plant leaders determine the correct path to excellence and performance improvement.
* Support the main financial processes: month-end close including financial reporting, S&OP and forecasting exercises, and annual budget as well as support of analyses of operational variances and profitability changes for the plant Zofingen.
* Support standard costs calculations and associated analyses including bridges.
* Support financial process optimization within the plant and contribute to path to controlling excellence in Zofingen.
* Interaction with key group functions such as FP&A, Reporting, and Financial Accounting.
* Support OPEX initiatives with sound financial analysis and development of KPIs.
* Support capital investment analysis including development of business cases and ensuring proper accounting compliance and business case follow-up.
* Ad hoc analyses including global initiatives as requested.
Your profile
* Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Business Administration.
* SAP CO & PS in-depth knowledge, including cost center accounting, product costing, and profitability analysis.
* In-depth experience of standard costing, absorption costs, and variance analysis.
* Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills.
* 3-5 years operational controlling experience.
* Business Warehouse knowledge.
* Power-BI knowledge or similar analytics platforms are a plus.
* Flexible, self-starter and independent worker.
* Fluency in German and good level of English.
