For our client, a global industry group with more than 10,000 employees and a location in the Wil/St. Gallen area, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a Production Planner (100%). The job description reads as follows:
Responsibilities
Being part of the Global Sales & Operations planning team, act as single point of contact for the Supply Chain and Logistics departments, including project managers, with respect to assigned planning processes and translate the demand into capacity planning and slot planning.
Closely coordinate and collaborate with the Commercial and Procurement departments, including shipping specialists and manufacturing planners.
By using Navigator, review quotations to check lead times, consider factory workload in line with the requirements of the business.
Define Supply Chain events for all components based on project strategy, lead times and given capacities.
Draft, adjust and update event schedules and prepare event schedules for kick-off meetings.
Track major events, monitor the progress and proactively define actions with the Supply Chain and Logistics departments, including project managers, in case of expected deviations or delays.
Requirements
Bachelor in a technical field or other technical education.
At least 3 years' professional experience in project planning and/or Supply Chain Management, including strong user skills in SAP.
Fluency in English (at least level B2-C1) and good German knowledge (at least level B1-B2).
Strong customer focus, problem solving and conflict management skills.
Highly committed and service-oriented personality with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Team player with an ability to work within an interdisciplinary and international environment.
EU/EFTA nationality and residence within a commutable area of Wil/St. Gallen, Switzerland, including areas near the Swiss border in Germany and Austria.
Place of work: Wil/St. Gallen, Switzerland (with a possibility of working from home to be discussed with the client).
