About IT End User Services Team
We are a global IT team managing enterprise end user services for over 60,000 Aptiv users located in more than 138 manufacturing facilities and 11 major technical centres worldwide in 50 countries.
Our End User Services are based on, but not limited to, Dell laptops and workstations, Microsoft Windows OS, MacOS, and Linux Ubuntu. Our engineers and supporting functions are enabled for Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint along with other cloud-based services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
The Digital Workplace Services Director plays a pivotal role in driving the digital workplace transformation, strategic vision, management, and optimization of Digital Workplace Services within the organisation. This position requires a dynamic senior leader with a strong blend of technical expertise, managerial acumen, and customer-centric focus to ensure that end users have access to reliable, secure, and efficient computing resources to support their daily operations and to provide a best-in-class user experience.
Your Role
We are currently looking for an EUC Manager. As part of the IT global team, you will have a chance to work on the most up-to-date technologies and develop yourself further in the End User Compute Department.
Your responsibilities would include:
1. Provide technical and operational subject matter expertise of Tanium and SCCM platforms in dedicated areas with focus on but not limited to Windows 10, Windows 11, and MacOS.
2. Manage endpoints provisioning process – computers (Windows/iOS), tablets (Android), mobiles, VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), IoT devices, and end user applications running on those platforms.
3. Move and manage Aptiv Build Centre to a cloud-based solution.
4. Involve in quality assurance of software and operating system deployment.
5. Work with Managed Service Provider(s) to coordinate and ensure quality of Build Centre processes including patching activities.
6. Work with other partners like Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Dell, HP and other partners to define standards.
7. Improve the build images for Aptiv standard EUC devices ensuring builds adhere to latest security and feature updates.
8. Support our Global Aptiv security team on any security-related initiatives related to the EUC space.
9. Support the deployment and execution of EUC services and develop related EUC service strategies.
10. Work with business during priority issues to assure Business Continuity actions are taken and supported appropriately.
11. Keep up to date enterprise EUC service portfolio and make sure CMDB is up to date.
12. Involve in an annual PC refresh program targeting the removal of the technical debt from our environment.
Your Background
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
2. 7+ years of the relevant work experience including at least 3 years in EUC space.
3. Sound business/technical knowledge of the SCCM Suite with full understanding of the MS Client OS roadmap and future state capabilities.
4. General knowledge of MacOS, Windows 10, Intune.
5. Good understanding of ITIL, Foundation certification as a minimum.
6. Hands-on experience on SCCM or Jamf Pro is a plus.
7. Extensive service support experience in outsourced environments and understanding business impacts of services outages.
8. Proven experience in creating and maintaining processes, procedures, and policies.
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
10. Motivated, adaptable, and positive personality with willingness to develop leadership skills in a team-oriented results-driven environment.
