About the Job
Job Responsibilities
* Support the Design Operations Manager to define key product life cycle decisions, such as timelines and tasks to manage projects through all implementation phases.
* Closely work with designers and product teams to ensure adoption of the design system.
* Empower design teams to create innovative experiences that align with brand and product guidelines.
* Maximize productivity by managing operational needs related to processes, tools, documentation, asset management, etc.
* Support the team in maintaining and evolving the design system according to its principles.
* Serve as a bridge between the Design Operations Team and stakeholders like Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
Your Profile
* A strong attitude toward design is essential for unlocking business value by fostering design maturity and enhancing user experiences.
* The ability to bring order to complex programs and scope includes prioritizing projects, identifying risks and dependencies, defining schedules, and working independently.
* A strategic mindset is crucial for identifying intersections between design, product, and technology to achieve business targets through delivering premium user experiences.
Deep experience integrating processes and guidelines into creative workflows is necessary to ensure design initiatives align with organizational standards and objectives.
* Familiarity with governance models for design systems, including user onboarding and offboarding processes, is important for maintaining the effectiveness and consistency of design practices.
* Exceptional communication skills to align stakeholders and foster cross-team collaboration are required, along with a proven ability to support a community of practice for design system users.
* A deep knowledge of Figma, Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
Familiarity with web-based experience development (HTML, CSS) is also required.
* Knowledge of industry accessibility standards like WCAG, Apple and Android native development, Agile methodologies, and documentation tools.
