Senior UX Designer
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team at Technis. Our mission is to simplify decisions about physical spaces using real-world data. We design innovative products for connected spaces and turn ideas into reality.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will be the bridge between customer needs, design thinking, and technical excellence. You will thrive in this role if you possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, and a passion for delivering user-centric solutions.
You will work in a collaborative team composed of 3 to 6 talented cross-functional members (product, engineering, data scientists) and collaborate closely with product leaders and stakeholders across the company (marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership).
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive UX strategy aligned with business goals
* Translate complex business challenges into scalable UX solutions that improve customer experience and drive adoption
* Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
* Develop and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
* Create user flows, sitemaps, and clear information architectures
* Collaborate with other designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders
* Work closely with sales and customer success teams to understand friction points and refine the product experience
* Lead design workshops and mentor junior designers
Requirements:
* 5+ years of professional UX design, user research, and usability testing experience
* Proven experience in defining and executing UX strategy that aligns with business goals
* Proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools (we use Figma)
* Strong visual and interaction design skills
* Ability to create clear information architecture and user flows
* Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication
* Data-driven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand technical constraints
* Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design
* Experience leading design initiatives and mentoring designers
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French, with the ability to present to stakeholders clearly and concisely
