The Role The Senior Test Automation Development Engineer is the Quality Assurance (QA) expert in our product development team who continuously strives to optimise and automate so that quality feedback remains reliable, complete, and fast. The QA team is always extending its coverage and therefore introducing new test approaches. Your knowledge in systems programming helps you while finding quality issues under specific circumstances. Responsibilities Design, implement, and execute automated tests Design and implement frameworks and infrastructure for automated testing Design and implement load & performance tests with dynamic cloud resources Analyse and validate optimal automated and manual testing approaches, execute acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing Enhance and maintain the on-demand process for creating our Cloud-Based testing environments Maintain and improve our continuous integration pipelines Introduce new quality-related product features Identify and report bugs Conduct acceptance testing on release candidates and coordinate with the Product Owner to make release decisions Collaborate with R&D members to identify and address quality issues across all levels, contributing to any part of the code base to resolve quality issues Coordinate with product management, software and support engineers to deliver stable enterprise software products Requirements Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification At least one previous role in automation testing Structured and methodical approach to work; adept at analysing and troubleshooting software issues Proven work experience in software development or software quality assurance Proficient in Java and / or Kotlin with strong software design skills, especially in object-oriented design Experience in cloud computing, preferably GCP Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing Plus Profound understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Knowledge of relational databases Knowledge of Kubernetes / Docker setup Experience with Spring-Boot app Familiarity with Linux German or French skills as a bonus Unblu is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
