Your Tasks
This position is part of a research project examining the impact of hospital capacity planning on service delivery, quality, and costs. As a working student, you will:
1. Conduct analyses using empirical methods and large datasets from the Swiss Federal Statistics Office.
2. Support literature reviews.
3. Show initiative and drive your tasks independently with high motivation.
4. Work and communicate effectively in a structured manner, cooperating with PhD students on defined tasks.
Your Profile
We are seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates with:
1. Outstanding grades in a Master's program in economics, econometrics, or management studies with a clear quantitative focus.
2. Experience handling large datasets.
3. Strong analytical skills in microeconomics and applied econometrics.
4. Good knowledge of at least one programming language (R, Stata, Python) and high motivation to improve econometric skillset.
5. Outstanding teamwork ability.
6. A result-oriented working style with high initiative, creativity, and team spirit.
7. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; fluency in German is a plus.
