Job Description
This is a challenging opportunity to drive the development of FPGA solutions from scratch, including software engineering support, testing on hardware, and documentation.
* Develop high-speed sensor & actor interfaces, connect them to standard bus interfaces, design internal logic blocks, and utilize existing cores.
* Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create a sophisticated multi-sensor device.
* Take ownership of your design and provide guidance to colleagues and external partners.
* Embrace best practices, methodologies, and tools to deliver high-quality results.
* Interface with stakeholders from various disciplines, including electronics, software, optics, mechanics, production, and more.
* Contribute to technical decision-making and development direction.
* Pursue continuous improvement of the development process.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced embedded systems engineer with expertise in FPGA or SoC designs. Ideally, you will have experience in sensor technologies and be familiar with C++, Linux, Python, or Matlab.
Your Qualifications
* University degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in FPGA or SoC designs.
* Ideal experience in embedded systems engineering and sensor technologies.
* Strong analytical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, and hands-on mentality.
* Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and German.
* Familiarity with laser range finding or imaging is an asset.
