About this role
As a Commis de Cuisine, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art culinary experiences within the Culinary Department at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to exacting standards
* Assisting with event preparation and execution
* Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflows during shifts
* Compliance with food safety guidelines and HACCP regulations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Completed a chef apprenticeship or equivalent experience
* Flexibility to work under pressure, including weekends and public holidays
* Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and reliability
* A high level of commitment to quality and excellence
* Very good knowledge of English, with additional language skills an advantage
* Eligibility to work in Switzerland
