Job Description
Primary function of this position:
The HCP Compliance Manager is a Subject Matter Expert on all HCP compliance matters. He/she works as a Project Manager for the implementation of the program, and as a business partner to Intuitive employees and Distributors.
He/she shall implement the HCP Compliance Program across Europe Direct & Distribution Markets to ensure that business practices and activities comply with laws and regulations.

The HCP Compliance Manager will work closely with Legal, Sales, Training and Marketing team members. He/she shall review and improve the processes and business solutions to provide adequate support to business and ensure that compliance program is efficiently implemented.
Roles and Responsibilities:
COMPLIANCE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION
Develops, initiates, maintains and revises policies, procedures and best practices across Europe Direct regions & Distribution Markets in compliance with anti-corruption and transparency legal regulations, and Industry codes of conduct.
Leads implementation of new company policies (e.g. Fee for Service), and implementation of new processes in order to align with new reporting requirements or new regulation (e.g. pre-approval documentation, visa or vetting systems), including internal documentation, implementation of new process and related business solutions, alignment with stakeholders and change management.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Design and conduct training sessions for employees and SMI/ Distributors via face-to-face and/or online trainings (Zoom, ISU), workshops and meetings, on HCP compliance policies and procedures.
MONITORING AND AUDITING
Implements, controls and conducts compliance monitoring reviews including audits, testing of key processes to ensure the organization is compliant with Intuitive policies and local laws and regulations.
Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develops and implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. Investigates upon Compliance alerts, no matter the origin.
ADVISORY AND GUIDANCE
Provides expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on HCP compliance matters.
Serves as a resource for questions and issues related to interactions with HCPs
REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION
Manages the submission of the spend disclosure reports in applicable countries (e.g. Sunshine transparency reporting in France and Belgium);
Interacts with internal and external stakeholders including third party suppliers/vendors to gather payments or transfers of value and samples data and other required information for reporting purposes.
RISK ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT
Informs of any new HCP Compliance developments, and reports potential violations of laws, regulations, rules, policies and Company’s procedures to the Group Compliance Committee.
Actively engage in regional external and internal Compliance networks (e.g. through industry organizations and associations) to shape and influence the environment and identify emerging trends/ best practices. Act as company representative for all HCP compliance matters in the EU and country Industry Associations (MedTech Europe, BVMed, Snitem)
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Lead, mentor, and develop a happy and high-performing team, of 2-3 coordinators and analysts. Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and support. Have strong project management in place to track progress of the team and deliverables
Ensure team members are trained on best practices and company policies and encourage continuous professional development.
