As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with various departments to support financial decision-making and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Main Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning.
* Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, preparing tax returns and assisting with audits as needed.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial initiatives and provide financial insights.
Profile Sought:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Languages: Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
* Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
