Job Summary
The Regulatory Professional supports the Treasury Trading team in the global Public Markets business by managing trading documentation, correspondence, and regulatory information. This role involves interpreting and analyzing new or amended regulations, working with key stakeholders to implement necessary controls and measures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage trading documentation and correspondence from counterparties, internal teams, and external lawyers
* Support the onboarding process for trading arrangements, including document management and regulatory information capture
* Partner with internal operations teams to manage EMIR and other relevant regulatory regime processes and procedures
* Develop an understanding of key agreements and the regulatory framework applicable to the Public Markets business
* Support the global securities disclosure process for listed securities
* Interpret and analyze new/amended regulations and implement necessary controls and measures
* Draft and maintain policies and standard procedures
* Recognize risks and detect operational escalation needs
* Protect the firm from regulatory breaches arising from public market trading activities
* Manage high-risk areas and develop the control framework
* Leverage industry knowledge to create value add initiatives
* Act as a reliable contact point for internal or external requests
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of relevant experience
* Degree in a relevant field
* Strong understanding of trading documentation, regulatory framework, and key agreements
* Proactive and reliable individual with strong communication skills
* Ability to analyze and interpret regulations
* Proficiency in Excel and project management skills
* A strong work ethic with a professional demeanor
