We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner for Core Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling). As the IT Product Owner, you will drive the area with IT & Business counterparts to improve and digitize customer experience as well as add new value propositions for our customers & users. You will ensure the area’s economic success, in close collaboration with your global business stakeholders & development team, you will drive activities for grooming, implementation and operation of your product. What does the role involve?
As an IT Product Owner, you are accountable for the respective IT Solution that falls under the area of Core Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling). You will need to plan, build, and run the complete solution which fits our IT landscape and provides operational excellence to our respective business. You’ll identify and analyze business requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on business needs and strategic requirements. You are responsible for defining the roadmap together with the business team and accordingly work on our SAP system landscape towards S/4HANA for Finance & Controlling processes. You own every outcome, decision, and activity related to the solution for which the scope is defined. Decisions are prepared and actions taken based on a deep understanding of the Hilti Business Model, specific product area, and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines. Furthermore, you’ll be managing stakeholder relations, making decisions based on financial benefits & business impact, prioritizing the backlog, creating user stories for functional and non-functional requirements, running demos and basic training, and owning the support process. Additionally, you will be expected to work in an agile manner to deliver fast results and coach juniors in the area so that they can work independently soon. Lastly, you will benefit from your functional & technical experience in Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling), interfaces with external systems (Blackline, Business Object Finance Consolidation, Tagetik, etc.), comprehension of the Order to Cash (OtC) process, and debugging skills in ABAP will be a plus advantage.

What you need is:
* Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or in a related field.
* At least 3-5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant in SAP ERP 6.0 environment / S/4HANA including interfaces with external systems (e.g., tax reporting). Debugging skills in ABAP are beneficial.
* Interest in working on understanding and defining the business process together with sustainability business with certain coding into the system.
* Excellent communication skills, high commitment, and proactiveness in approaching knowledge.
* Strong drive for success and a high level of commitment to the role.
