Payment Regulations & Standards Expert PAYMENT REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS EXPERT ROLE As a Payment Regulations and Standards Expert, you will play a key role in SICPAs Digital team, ensuring that our digital payment solutions comply with regulatory frameworks and international standards. You will be the go-to expert on regulatory developments, market trends, and best practices in digital payments. This position will report to the Head of New Digital Business Development. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor, analyze, and interpret global regulatory developments related to digital payments, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), cryptocurrencies, and fintech. Ensure SICPAs digital payment solutions comply with all relevant local and regional regulations and standards. Collaborate with product, legal, and technical teams to integrate regulatory requirements into digital solution development. Establish and maintain relationships with our payment potential payment partners, banks, regulators, financial institutions, central banks, and standardization bodies. Be the main point of contact and manage the relationship with the local financial partner in each country where SICPA will implement its sovereign digital payment solutions. Contribute to SICPAs digital payment strategy by identifying opportunities and risks related to regulatory changes. Represent SICPA in standardization forums and industry conferences on digital payments. PROFILE University degree in law, finance, economics, or engineering, with a specialization in payments, financial regulations, or compliance. Minimum 5 years of experience in digital payments, banking regulations, fintech, or crypto-assets. Strong understanding of international regulatory frameworks (Basel III, FATF, PSD2, DORA, MiCA, etc.) and payment standards (ISO 20022, EMV, PCI DSS, etc.). Experience interacting with regulators, central banks, or financial institutions. Ability to translate complex regulatory topics for various stakeholders.
