We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) to join the product management team of the Bruker CALID Group. Many of the key stakeholders are located in our factories in Germany and Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
* Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the LC hardware portfolio.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
* Define product vision, positioning, and value propositions in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
Product Development:
* Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, and marketing to develop new products and enhance existing products.
* Ensure products meet market requirements, regulatory standards, and company quality benchmarks.
* Manage product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including product launches and obsolescence plans.
Market and Customer Engagement:
* Engage with key customers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders to gather feedback and insights.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional activities.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Performance and Financial Management:
* Set and monitor product performance metrics, including sales, quality, market share, and profitability.
* Develop pricing strategies and manage product pricing over the product lifecycle.
* Prepare and manage budgets for product development and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) is preferred.
Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the scientific instruments or analytical chemistry industry.
* Ideally 3 years+ experience in the analytical life science market
* Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products.
* Experience with liquid chromatography systems and related hardware is a prerequisite.
