Contract Specialist Role
Job Description
You will be part of the Contract Writing Team, a specialized international team in the Zinc Department. You will draft sales and purchase contracts for various commodities and related legal documents.
* Drafting/reviewing/negotiating/issuing sales and purchase contracts, including related legal documents (NDAs, LOIs, force majeure declarations, etc.).
* Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Insurance, Finance, and other teams to ensure corporate standards are met.
* Providing commercial advice to Trading and signalling potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Main Responsibilities
* Track and maintain internal trading systems and contract files.
* Assist Teams within the Zinc Department with legal matters and disputes.
Requirements
Able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds. Understanding economic workflows, legal requirements, and their interaction is essential.
* Bachelor's degree or similar education in economics, law, or comparable fields.
* Fluent English verbal and written skills, with knowledge of other languages an asset.
* Proficient in MS Office and IT applications.
* Swiss work permit or EU/CH passport holder.
