Akkodis, a global leader in the engineering and R&D market, is recruiting a Digital Hardware Engineer (M/F/D) for our Lausanne team. As part of a strategic project for one of our key clients, you will join a multidisciplinary R&D team of hard-working and passionate individuals developing groundbreaking satellite communications system technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, optimize and integrate highly reliable analog and mixed-signal electronics for phased array antennas.
* Drive requirements, architecture and circuit design, component selection and procurement, PCB design, board bring up, testing and design + manufacturing documentation.
* Optimize BOM cost.
* Partner with Radio frequency, mechanical and software internal and external experts.
Required Skills and Experience:
* MSc or equivalent in electronic engineering or a related field.
* 5+ years of proven experience in hardware or electrical engineering.
* Good understanding of architecture definition, digital electronics, high-speed (multi-gigabit) interfaces, and experience testing and verifying high-speed digital designs through to production and release.
* Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools, particularly Altium.
* Experience with Hardware Design Languages (VHDL, Verilog).
* Strong knowledge of DSP and FPGA implementations.
* Strong knowledge of PCB simulation tools, Ansys SIwave.
* Experience with microcontrollers or FPGAs.
