Position summary
Driving growth through Training & Education activities for the brand Straumann & iEXCEL.
The regional training and education team is part of the EMEA Regional Marketing team.
The position holder provides management focus and implementation strength in developing and driving The Straumann brand business in Region EMEA.
She / he coordinates revenue-generating training and education initiatives, promotes a high customer understanding and business acumen.
This position fosters a tight network with all relevant internal stakeholders: on global level, with the business unit implantology, and on regional, hub regional and country level with marketing and training and education entities.
The position holder drives thought and implementation leadership in training and education activities, transforming the current go-to-market approach towards value adding services, digitalization, solution selling and new customer acquisition.
Region EMEA – Marketing
Our Region EMEA – Marketing team is a dedicated unit that fully leverages all our brands and services to become the leading partner of choice for our customers. The team supports our hub region and country organizations in their go-to-market approach.
Together with our colleagues on hub region global and country level, we are committed to develop and implement product launch strategies and training & education strategies that grow our current customer bases and enable us to win competitive users.
We are building and serving our customers across all product and solution segments (implants, bone regenerative, digital) through winning business concepts and a sales approach focused on customer needs and wants. By addressing the entire value creation model of our customers, we help them to grow their patient base and increase profitability by incorporating new treatment concepts, reducing the number of visits for patients and driving innovation.
Main tasks and responsibilities
1. Manages and drives commercial aspects of training and education, go-to-market processes around Straumann & iEXCEL.
2. Focuses on building brand communities and further develops the go-to-market training and education approach of iEXCEL.
3. Engages and collaborates with the hub regions and country-based training and education community.
4. Supports the commercial transformation (digital, changing market space) of the Region EMEA with the countries’ training and education/marketing teams.
5. Implements and develops regional training and education go-to-market plans for new products and existing products (where further product push is needed).
6. Delivers input to global brand teams for iEXCEL to foster positioning and commercial success in the training and education area.
7. Ensures prioritization for global content, and works with hub regional and in-country training and education to localize, building blueprints for replication of concepts in training and education.
8. Builds and nurtures strong personal connections with the global teams of Straumann.
9. Hosts a training and education community for Straumann iEXCEL working alongside the Head of iEXCEL EMEA.
10. Stays close to the markets through local team community training and education meetings, co-travel, trade shows, and attendance support at local training and education courses/events.
11. Supports the growth manager with TtT go-to-market meetings like booster camps, PM summits.
12. Provides hands-on support as the product specialist at courses/events prioritization within the marketing building blocks and key product launches.
13. Co-defines the (internal and external) training & education priorities for our solution portfolio and engages with development plans of customers.
14. Works closely with growth managers IBU/CCS to support new customer acquisition, customer training, customer development, and clinical events with education 3rd party partners.
15. Analyzes training and education performance and development, provides growth insights and supports countries to achieve sales targets and aspirations through training and education best practice sharing.
16. Supports the regional training and education manager with the yearly training and education summit and education FACE catalogue EMEA.
17. Supports in identifying and capturing new sales opportunities and sales approaches through training and education.
18. Develops and supports local organizations building EMEA regional KOL network 3rd party provider management, building strong relationships for future growth.
19. At regional courses or events, supports the regional team with speaker/KOL management for events, working together with the growth managers IBU/CCS to develop, program and speakers for the course/event.
20. Represents Region EMEA and its respective hub region and country organizations with global counterparts and advocates needs and wants.
21. Co-creates opportunities/synergies with hub region and local country organizations in training and education/events.
22. Engages as a “player-learner” in developing a winning team that has a high business impact.
Experience & expertise
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of training, education, or product management with work-related experience.
2. Or 3 years and more experience within a marketing, sales, product management, training and education field.
3. Experience in medical device commercialization is a plus.
4. Track record in achieving challenging results.
5. Comfortable with up to 40% travelling.
