Job Description Summary
Join Novartis Switzerland for a part-time trainee position to support the Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) managers and overall business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts, etc. You can expect to work cross-functionally and proactively contribute to a data-driven decision-making culture, leveraging your excellent communication and analytical skills.

Job Description
Major accountabilities:
* Supporting the delivery of our financial objectives by deeply connecting with our business, providing relevant stakeholders with insights based on deep-dive ad-hoc analysis.
* Delivering high quality, on-time financial reports and helping convert insights generated as part of it into recommendations and business impact.
* Ensuring precise cost recognition and FTE allocation.
* Participating in cross-functional project teams.
* Conducting profitability and benchmarking analysis.
* Working closely with the BPA Managers on various topics.
Minimum Requirements:
* Ongoing or recently graduated in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, etc.) - ideal for a student worker.
* A good business mindset and digitally savvy.
* Good spoken and written English.
* German or other European languages is a nice to have.
* Good collaborator and experienced in working in interpersonal teams (during studies or work).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
