As part of the development of our activities in Switzerland, we are recruiting a Process Engineer –(Peptides/Biotech Industry) whose mission will be:
As part of a project for our client, you will act as a Process Engineer specialized in chemistry or biotechnology.
You will contribute to take part in the basic design, engineering, and follow-up through to commissioning.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Drafting technical specifications for process equipment: Chromatography, Evaporation, Filtration, Isolator Systems, Water Treatment, Gas systems.
* Designing and validating PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
* Acting as the technical point of contact with equipment suppliers, from consultation to final selection.
* Working closely with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of systems.
* Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards (GMP), including quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Profile:
* Engineer Degree in chemical process engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical or biotech engineering projects, ideally with a focus on peptide processes.
* Strong knowledge of process equipment in high-spec environments following GMP guidelines.
* Skilled in creating and interpreting PFDs and P&IDs.
* Experience writing technical specifications and managing suppliers.
* Professional-level English required (project working language). Proficiency in German would be an advantage.
