Your key responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Portfolio strategy, standards & analysis: ensures consistency of basic methodology across Sandoz global platforms teams and regional portfolio teams. Drives trade-off and total pipeline risk balance decisions by consolidating total Sandoz view and making recommendations across platform and geographic weightings. Acts as the functional leader for portfolio global and regional leads.
- Governance, reporting and KPIs: ensures the global pipeline committee, pipeline board, launch board and S&OP board governance is well planned, executed and accountable with clear metrics and follow through accountability.
- Pipeline process and operations: manages process governance across all product strategy tollgates, proper tracking of the decisions and process improvements in partnership with CCO Platforms, SGD, STO and Regions.
- Business intelligence: manages all market and company data and intelligence via amalgamation of back-end operations and reporting, and delivery of information and reports to platform teams, Regions, BD&L-M&A and corporate strategy. Full responsibility on Sandoz budget related to vendors and data.
- Commercial LCM, volume and tender management & maximization: drives analysis and prioritization of company wide in-market portfolio LCM, working with finance, manufacturing, platforms and regions to align Sandoz value goals. Drives central volume (boost) efficiency initiatives as well as global tender planning and alignment.
- Global Launch: oversight on global launch operations, monitoring and reporting, as well as functional alignment across company of launch priorities and accountabilities.
- Situationally manages special projects, tasks or initiatives related to the role:
- Network evaluations: Commercial analysis of manufacturing, development or commercial networks
- Divestment reviews: of key geographies or assets
- Other management tasks: per ad-hoc or strategic requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in/and Business Administration, Finance, Economics or pharma/medical/chemical background (combination ideal)
- Business level English (written and spoken)
- Minimum 15 years industry experience across the value chain with direct and indirect leadership of sizeable teams with multiple layers
- Ex perience with process simplification and process innovation is key
- Strong stakeholder management skills; clear communication style with the ability to engage and align different stakeholders
- A simplification mindset and change management experience are a must.
Desirable Requirements:
- 2nd degree preferred (e.g., PhD, MBA)
- Additional language skills are advantageous
- Experience in leading complex and multifunctional projects is a plus
- Experience in consulting is a strong plus, as well as experience in strategy roles in multinational companies
- Experience with working with senior executives is beneficial
