We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships with key customers in the beverage can sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Management
o Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers.
o Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs.
* Sales Strategy & Execution
o Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
o Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
o Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for new business development.
* Customer Relationship Management
o Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and business reviews to ensure client satisfaction.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
o Address and resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty.
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless service to clients.
* Lead cross-functional projects.
* Provide feedback from key accounts to inform product development and market strategies.
* Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market insights for senior management.
* Mentor and guide junior account managers or sales team members as needed.
* Share best practices and contribute to building a high-performing sales team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or key account management in the beverage can or other packaging industry.
* Excellent understanding of the FMCG beverage industry in Europe and/or globally.
* Proven track record of establishing effective relationships with key customers across all levels of the organization.
* Very strong understanding of the beverage can supply chain process.
* Expert in the sustainability aspects of the beverage can.
* Demonstrated experience in implementation of different tolling models.
* Brilliant negotiation skills, demonstrable through continuous training & certification.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans.
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
