This role is designed to support the CMM in their role, ensuring that the compliance function administration and audits are carried out to the high standard expected in compliance.
Duties: Ensure that the Compliance Monitoring Department’s documentation is kept relevant and current.
Assist the CMM to plan, develop, coordinate and implement audit procedures and the Annual Audit Plan.
Undertake Audits as assigned in the Audit Plan.
Support the CMM in ensuring consistency and efficiency of the audit process.
Advise management on the required corrective actions that need to be taken.
Ensure that regulatory changes are taken into account in the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
Ensure the dissemination of compliance-related information to management and non-management operational personnel as appropriate to ensure organizational awareness of relevant compliance monitoring issues and results.
Ensure that every year the new edition of IOSA Standards Manual (ISM) and its Temporary Revisions, if any, are distributed to all NP/Managers, to ensure continuous conformance with IOSA standards and recommended practices.
Assist the CMM when required to communicate with the TM CAD for all matters regarding the Compliance Monitoring Program and the regulatory standards.
When instructed by the CMM, act as a liaison with external parties, i.e. Customers or external auditors on matters related to Compliance Monitoring.
Monitor that all personnel will receive relevant training of Mel Air CMS (MSM Section 9).
Support the CMM in the control, planning, and management of all the training of auditors. Maintain up-to-date information of all auditor’s suitability and independence in QAO_AAL_1 list of approved Auditors.
Coordinate the SAFA database.
Assure the proper administration of compliance-related information in Coruson software.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Accountable Manager as required.
Qualifications and Requirements: At least one year of relevant work experience as a compliance auditor (Air Ops).
Formal training in SMS including Risk Management.
Relevant training in compliance monitoring systems and auditing techniques.
Proficiency in English; advanced Spanish would be highly valuable.
Verifiable knowledge of the applicable EASA AIR OPS, national safety regulations, and any associated requirements and procedures.
Qualified Air Ops (EASA) Auditor.
Qualified IOSA Auditor is a distinct advantage.
The structure and content of the Management System Manual.
The need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the Operations Manual as applicable.
A thorough knowledge of the compliance monitoring concept.
