We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help us power up the traveler's journey for millions of holidaymakers. If you are passionate about travel and coding, keep reading, as you might be the perfect fit for this job.

Key Responsibilities
7. Design, write, and test high-quality software by using a range of practices like TDD, DDD, Clean Code, or SOLID Principles
8. Create resilient, secure, and performant applications able to serve millions of requests per day
9. Define the best technical solution and infrastructure for new features together with architects, always focusing on CI/CD
10. Be responsible for the quality of the delivery
11. Be responsible for the performance, reliability, and scalability
12. Use tech expertise to proactively find solutions to solve complex issues, understanding and considering the business needs
13. Contribute positively to the team´s technical growth, sharing your technical knowledge by interacting with your peers in the day by day activities
14. Make real impact Influencing and guiding engineers working in the whole product engineering department
15. Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and stakeholders from multiple teams to solve complex problems to deliver end-to-end solutions
Qualifications
Your expertise
Essential
16. Strong experience as a Software Engineer programming in OO/FP languages but preferably in JVM: Java or Kotlin
17. Previous experience working with Clean code, SOLID principles and Agile mindset,
18. Previous experience working with the Spring/SpringBoot ecosystem
19. Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on data
20. Ability to understand the business requirements
21. Positive and collaborative attitude
22. Growth mindset
23. Fluency in English both written and spoken
Desirable
24. Previous working experience in startup or product company
25. Previous experience with XP practices
26. Previous working experience with AWS
27. Previous working experience with Microservices and Kubernetes
28. Previous working experience with Messaging Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
