We are looking for a motivated and committed Project Manager for our client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. based in Basel, for an 18-month assignment.
As the Project Manager, you will closely collaborate with the Device Development Team Leader to drive the advancement of drug delivery technology platforms and portfolio development, playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of life-changing medical devices to the clinic and market. You will leverage a robust foundation in both technical engineering and project management to strategically plan, execute, and oversee development projects, ensuring timely completion, cost efficiency, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Define project scope, deliverables, and resources in collaboration with the Device Development Leader. Ensure alignment within the Technical Development Team.
* Plan and manage project deliverables, budget, and timeline, including resource allocation and expenditure tracking.
* Oversee project documentation and integration, collaborating with PMO for seamless access to project information.
* Manage scope changes and ensure stakeholder alignment in a fast-paced, complex environment.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
* Establish communication with stakeholders, provide status updates, and manage expectations.
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
Must Haves
* BA/BS with at least 15 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or biopharma industries, preferably with experience in multi-site global companies.
* At least 10 years of project management experience; PMP certification preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
* Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Knowledge of design controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, CE marking).
* Proven track record of leading medical device projects and managing high-performing teams.
Nice to Haves
* Pharmaceutical E2E Drug Development - familiarity and understanding.
* PMP certification.
* Familiarity with digital integrated software solutions that deliver an item-based data approach (e.g., Polarion ALM, Veeva Vault).
