Description du poste We are currently looking for a Sales Manager Hydraulics speaking German and English to join a successful company specialized in construction machines, mining and material handling equipment.
Your Responsibilities :
Providing technical and application-related consulting to assigned key customers in the field of axial piston machines and hydraulic components.
Representing customer interests towards internal interfaces and coordinating internal activities as well as communication with the customer.
Acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and sales negotiations.
Creating tailor-made offers and presentations that meet the specific requirements of customers and align with technical feasibility.
Monitoring market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions that strengthen our market position.
Assessing new customers, identifying their sales potential, formulating possible solutions for their inquiries, and representing our interests in negotiations.
Advising and supporting customers in selecting and applying hydraulic components - both for standard products and customized solutions.
Identifying cross-selling opportunities, structuring and planning annual customer-related actions, and developing customer strategies.
Documenting all sales activities and planning revenue and sales volume development.
Identifying key decision-makers at customer organizations and maintaining relationships with them.
Working closely with the technical department and key account management to develop customized solutions, as well as with the internal sales team to ensure smooth order processing.
Your Qualifications :
University degree in business administration or industrial engineering with relevant experience in technical product sales, ideally in the field of hydraulics or related industries.
Comprehensive market knowledge in the off-highway segment as well as a good understanding of hydraulic components or drive technology and their applications (pumps, motors, valves, seals, etc.).
Strong presentation and communication skills, confident in negotiations, and excel at engaging and managing key stakeholders and customers.
Optimistic mindset, openness to change, and a convincing, customer-oriented approach.
Hands-on mentality, solution-oriented thinking, flexibility, and willingness to travel for customer meetings and trade fairs.
Fluent in German and English with experience successfully applying skills in an international environment.
