Business Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's Zurich office. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and enhancing market presence within the infrastructure and construction sectors.
The position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our client's goals and objectives, focusing on sustainable financial growth and market expansion.
* Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets, developing and implementing strategic plans to secure new clients and projects.
* Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration.
* Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our client's value proposition to potential clients.
* Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms and agreements that benefit the client and our client.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project development, design, and construction teams to ensure seamless project initiation and execution.
* Brand Promotion: Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development within the construction or infrastructure industry, with a proven track record of achieving growth targets.
3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction and infrastructure sectors, including market dynamics, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
4. Skills:
