A career in our Non-Financial Services Audit practice, within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to deliver a range of Assurance services and business advice to various clients from small, fast-growing companies to large entities. Our clients are often well-known brands, many having a broad international reach.
Our team assists organisations in navigating complex regulations while strengthening trust and transparency in their business. While many rules of business have changed, the fundamentals remain the same.
As a member of our team, you will work alongside senior members of the client's management team in planning the audit process from beginning to end, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and fair presentation of our client's information.
Your tasks:
* You will conduct audits of clients in the Trade, Industries & Services area.
* Responsibilities include integrated audits of companies that prepare financial statements in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and file with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
* Statutory audits of companies preparing financial statements in accordance with Swiss law are also part of your responsibilities.
* Private companies that prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will also be audited by you.
* Managing audits of non-financial reports, such as ESG audits, is another key responsibility.
* Preparing the audit file for Partner review and assisting in presenting the audit findings to management or the Board of Directors is an essential task.
* Developing new and extending existing relationships with our clients and providing support in technical accounting matters is crucial.

* Sharing expertise and experience through teaching, coaching, and mentoring others is also expected.
Your profile:
* More than 7 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role at a Big 4 or an International Second-Tier firm is required.
* Technical excellence, including an excellent working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB standards, is essential.
* Completing the US CPA qualification or equivalent is a must.
* Experience in managing large multi-location audits and effectively managing clients and network PwC firms within the region is highly valued.
* Managing audits of non-financial reports and building strong relationships with senior management at local, regional, and corporate levels are also key aspects.
* Ability to report upwards to Partners and work collaboratively as a team player is crucial.
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills – German is a plus.
