This is a 9-month contract role for maternity leave cover, no relocation required for internal candidates.
Our Business Intelligence Services (BIS) drive data management and business intelligence in aviation. The Cargo Traffic and Sales BI vertical focuses on air cargo capacity and revenue generation for airlines and other entities.
Air Cargo is crucial for emergency and commercial goods transportation, generating revenue for airlines and improving their cash position. IATA's CargoIS product, managed by the Cargo Traffic and Sales BI vertical, is the world's most trusted premium air cargo business intelligence database.
The Product Manager New Market Segments CargoBI will report to the Assistant Director of Cargo Traffic & Sales BI. This individual will be responsible for growing CargoIS in new segments and emerging markets, driving the execution of the CargoIS roadmap throughout the product lifecycle to meet customer demands. They will also support expanding CargoIS data coverage and driving business growth while ensuring compliance with anti-competition regulations.
The day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, providing sales team support, and defining marketing strategy.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead two-way communication with regional teams to ensure feedback on product evolution and keep them updated on product status.
* Execute the CargoIS roadmap focusing on meeting data needs from new market segments.
* Collect customer feedback regarding potential data needs and enhancements.
We're looking for someone with:
* Broad understanding of air cargo business practices.
* Minimum 7 years of experience with business intelligence and IT understanding.
* Commercial experience, preferably in product management or a similar role.
* Solid experience in managing relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and third parties.
* Ability to articulate complex technical topics effectively.
Travel Required: Yes, up to 20%
