Job Description
Sandoz is going through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. By creating a new and ambitious path, it will provide a unique opportunity for us all, both professionally and personally.
As Global Head Real Estate and Workplace, you will be responsible for translating the company’s hybrid working strategy into operational and engaging spaces for all associates. You will manage the company's physical real estate assets and safeguard their value through continuous analysis and identification of opportunities to optimize. You will provide global governance and monitor compliance to the strategy and processes set out in this domain and will oversee and manage a global portfolio of 80 to 100 Real Estate Assets.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage a highly outsourced global team of service providers and negotiate the best deal in both leases and service delivery contracts
* Lead a team of highly skilled experts
* Set the strategic direction (3-5 years) for function/sub-function
* Implement strategies for mid-long term
* Have full accountability for all budget for function/sub-function
* Manage globally, understanding local business specifics and needs
* Closely liaise with HR and IT to enable the company culture through its Spaces
* Engage with the broader organization and partner with the company’s leaders to make our offices vibrant and attractive locations for Sandoz associates
* Key performance indicators include: Customer satisfaction, making Sandoz´s spaces a physical representation of our culture and values
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
* 10+ years of Real Estate know how with experience and focus on service and customer-oriented roles
* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* Previous experience in a leadership role
* Strong analytical & negotiation skills, financial savviness
* Ability to business partner with senior levels and to engage with the broader organization
* Decision Making and Trade-Off Analysis / Risks & Ops Mgmt, considering quality of services and financial implications
* Collaborating across boundaries
* Cross Cultural Experience
