Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor the efficacy of the organization's data privacy program, identifying improvement opportunities and suggesting enhancements to maintain a leading-edge privacy framework.
Collaborate with teams across various functions to ensure synchronization on data privacy initiatives and adherence to legal requirements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical insights and actionable recommendations for mitigating legal risks associated with new technologies, data processing activities, and innovative initiatives.
Sustain and continuously improve the data privacy framework, including relevant processes and standards.
Coordinate and engage with external legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and data protection authorities to navigate complex data privacy issues.
Create and publish guidelines, web articles, and reports that address various dimensions of data privacy.
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation pertinent to technology, data, and privacy matters.
Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on emerging data privacy trends, offering actionable strategies to mitigate legal risks.
Qualifications Strong skills in project management.
Hold a law degree and have achieved admission to a bar association.
Accumulate a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, ideally within a law firm and/or the legal department of a complex organization.
Exhibit comprehensive expertise and thought leadership in the domains of privacy, technology, and data.
Excellent proficiency in English, proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities, remaining resourceful and composed under pressure, accompanied by strong organizational and project management abilities.
