As a Senior Data Scientist specialized in explainable AI and marketing science, your mission is to elevate our marketing performance through robust experimentation, advanced analytics, and compelling storytelling. You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to design and execute hypothesis-driven experiments, enhance our MMM and MTA models, and champion a unified marketing measurement framework. This role demands strong communication and leadership skills to effectively translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies and influence stakeholders.
Your Mission
* Lead the design and implementation of a hypothesis-driven experimentation framework in collaboration with marketing teams, ensuring robust testing methodologies and statistically sound analysis.
* Develop and refine our internal MMM and MTA models, incorporating advanced techniques and explainable AI to provide clear and actionable insights into marketing effectiveness.
* Spearhead the development of a unified marketing measurement framework through triangulation and other innovative approaches, driving a deeper understanding of marketing performance across all channels.
* Communicate complex data findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders, fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
* Proactively identify and solve challenging business problems related to marketing measurement, attribution, and optimization, leveraging your expertise in data science and marketing science.
* Interact with key stakeholders like Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, or Product Development Teams to outline strategies and pursue the realization of our shared company objectives.
Your Story
* You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist specializing in explainable AI, marketing science, and experimental design, with a proven track record in the digital marketing landscape, particularly within a D2C/E-commerce environment and a clear understanding of prediction models, classifiers, marketing channel mix, attribution, user behavior and website performance.
* You are proficient in statistical analysis, causal inference, and hypothesis testing, with a proven ability to design and execute robust hypothesis-driven experiments.
* You possess a strong understanding of marketing-mix and attribution modeling, with experience in building and refining such models in an e-commerce and physical retail setting with numerous marketing channels in place.
* You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus. You have experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
* You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, possess a proactive attitude, and are passionate about solving complex challenges.
* Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., Vertex AI) and MLOps principles is a plus.
