Position Overview
We are looking for a Tax Specialist to advise, monitor and support IKEA Switzerland in a pro-active way on direct and indirect tax matters, with additional assignments within the country insurance coordination.
Qualifications
1. You speak German and English and have a competent knowledge of the Swiss Tax Law and Finance. You have successfully completed higher education to a Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management Federal Diploma or a Certified Fiduciary Federal Diploma.
2. You have at least 3 years of experience in Tax, in an advisory or in-house role, and good knowledge of legal and accounting principles.
3. You possess good communication skills to understand and explain complex matters to people with different backgrounds and collaborate with others to achieve goals.
4. You have excellent analytical and numerical skills.
5. You are result-driven and maintain focus on details and accuracy.
6. You can comfortably handle unclear or unpredictable situations.
7. You can translate expert knowledge into system landscape and act in a changing and complex environment.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage all direct and indirect tax matters for IKEA Switzerland to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
2. Ensure accurate and timely filing of the Corporate Income Tax returns, VAT returns, and all other reports to local and central authorities and handle tax audits.
3. Support on tax relevant matters regarding management and statutory reporting.
4. Advise the local finance organization on any relevant tax matters.
5. Ensure availability of books and records in accordance with local legal requirements.
6. Ensure relevant tax competence, knowledge, and awareness amongst team members and other relevant staff.
7. Participate in local and global projects (providing relevant input on tax matters).
8. Manage and lead all insurance processes, procedures, and yearly activities for the country in a timely and effective way, securing that all relevant standards and rules are in place.
