Tasks
3Brain is looking for a full-time Electronics Production Technician to scale up the production of its devices and to improve the automation of the processes involved in the production. Working together with the R&D and Fulfilment Team, your responsibility will be to manage and maintain our production processes and to identify potential improvements to support high-quality and ensure consistent delivery that meet our quality standards. The main tasks are:
* Manage and execute manufacturing of our products (i.e., end-assembly, inventory, packaging for the shipment of finished products, etc.)
* Follows production performance indicators
* Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product manufacturability, transition developed products into production and identify process optimizations
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency
* Maintain a clean and organized production environment to meet industry standards for cleanliness and safety
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process
* Support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve productivity
* Monitor inventory levels and contribute to the ordering of materials
* Execute inbound quality testing for components of high-end biomedical instrumentation
* Develop new test procedures and contribute to root cause analysis
* Troubleshoot production problems related to equipment, processes, quality, and systems
* Provide statistical data analysis and reporting and escalate to management when issue is encountered
Requirements
Required Qualifications
* An apprenticeship or technical degree (e.g., HF) in electronics/electrics or automation
* Skills and interests in practical work and hands-on activities (“a maker, not a theorist”)
* Team player with initiative, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently
* Strong ability to complete assignments with careful attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
* Strong interpersonal relationship, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and written/verbal communication skills in English
* Applicant must have an EU/EFTA or Swiss Citizenship
Additional Qualifications
* Experience with CAD design tools
* Interests in 3D-printing, injection molding and materials
* Interest in programming/scripting and/or HW design flows
* Interest to grow in an engineering environment
