Fully Remote • Remote Worker - N/A
Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic data engineer to help build and maintain scalable data integrations between multiple ERP systems and Microsoft Dataverse to PowerBI, powering advanced analytics and operational reporting across the business. You'll play a critical role in designing repeatable pipelines and systems that deliver clean, timely, and reconcilable data — from raw transactions to SKU level revenue, margin, other operational KPIs.
What You’ll Do
* Design and develop automated data integrations between multiple ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, GlobalShop, etc.) and Microsoft Dataverse using Power Automate, APIs, and custom connectors.
* Create scalable, repeatable pipelines that prioritize speed, data integrity, and performance.
* Optimize and maintain Power BI datasets and reports, ensuring they reconcile back to source systems and the financial trial balance.
* Collaborate closely with finance, pricing, and operational teams to build analytics tools and dashboards that help drive decisions around pricing, margin, and profitability.
* Define and document data models, integration standards, and best practices for future extensibility.
* Monitor data quality and proactively resolve issues related to latency, mismatches, or pipeline failures.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years experience in data engineering, BI development, or systems integration, ideally with exposure to ERP systems and financial data structures.
* Strong hands-on experience with:
o Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI)
o REST APIs, JSON, and custom connectors
o SQL and data modeling
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, GlobalShop, Sage etc.).
* Ability to interpret and validate data against financial reports like trial balance, P&L, or margin reports.
* Comfortable working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and build actionable analytics solutions.
* Bonus: experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Python, or other integration/ETL tools.
Why Join Us
* Fully remote team with flexible hours
* High-impact role with visibility across finance, operations, and executive teams
* Work with modern Microsoft data stack
* Mission-driven company that values data-informed decisions
Details
* Location: Remote (U.S. or similar time zones preferred)
* Travel: Less than 20% annually for team collaboration or onsite discovery sessions
* Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus, based on experience and location
