Role: Technical Sales Specialist
Territory: Northern Europe (incl. Germany, Austria, the Netherlands & Nordics)

Job Description
This role is perfect for a self-driven, hands-on, and enthusiastic individual. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our commercial success, contributing to revenue growth in Northern Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop effective sales strategies to convert leads into closed orders. The TSS will be engaged in all stages of customer interaction, from prospecting to post-sales support.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the entire sales process: lead prospecting, CRM (sfdc) updates, quoting and driving new leads to closed sales using consultative selling
2. Prospecting through all available channels (LinkedIn, Email, phone calls, other social media, etc.)
3. Arranging and providing seminars/webinars and other customer-facing events
4. Arranging and planning customer demonstrations of the Nanolive products (with support from the field applications team)
5. Attending trade shows, regional territory events, vendor shows, industry conferences, and networking events to represent the company and identify new business opportunities
6. Travel required within the assigned territory for customer site visits, trade shows, demos, cold calling etc. to meet with clients and prospects and to help garner leads or to progress opportunities
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers
8. Provide training, support, and resources to channel partners to ensure alignment with company goals and effective sales execution
9. Active, daily management of CRM system for the given territory
10. Gather customer feedback and relay insights into the product development and marketing teams to help improve our offerings.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Minimum B.S. in cell biology, immunology, life sciences arena (preferred MSc)
2. Experience of commercial life science roles preferred
3. 1-2 years in Sales would be a plus
4. Enthusiasm to introduce new technology to the market
5. Good connections within academia/biotech within the territory
6. Able to work independently
7. Valid Swiss work permit for Swiss based
8. German and English are mandatory
9. Excellent communication and presenting skills
10. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
