We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to oversee the development and execution of our content strategy across all Volleyball World events and products. This role is essential to maintaining brand consistency, enhancing audience connection, and ensuring impactful storytelling across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement a unified content strategy that aligns with Volleyball World's brand identity, core values, and business objectives.
Lead content planning for events, campaigns, and product launches, ensuring themes and narratives are cohesive and compelling.
Analyze audience insights and market trends to shape strategies that maximize engagement and reach.
Content Creation & Operations
Oversee the production of high-quality, multi-format content, including video, editorial, social media, and live event coverage.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, events, partnerships) and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and brand alignment.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring seamless execution and consistency across platforms and regions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and inspire a team of content creators, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
Act as the key liaison for content operations, ensuring cross-functional alignment and effective communication.
Build and maintain relationships with agencies, freelancers, and partners to scale content production as needed.
Performance & Optimization
Establish and monitor KPIs for content effectiveness, using analytics to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.
Adapt content strategies based on performance insights, audience feedback, and emerging trends.
Stay informed about industry developments to ensure Volleyball World remains at the forefront of content innovation.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience
Proven experience (5+ years) in content strategy, production, and management, ideally within sports, entertainment, or digital media industries.
EU / B permit.
Strong understanding of brand alignment and storytelling, with a track record of creating impactful, audience-driven content.
Expertise in digital platforms and formats, including social media, live events, OTT, and on-demand content.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in tools for content creation and analytics (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Google Analytics).
Leadership & Collaboration
Demonstrated ability to lead creative teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Passion for Volleyball
Familiarity with volleyball and its global community is a plus, along with a passion for sports and fan engagement.
