The Opportunity
The Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform in the 360 Labs Initiative seeks an experienced, collaborative, customer-centric lab-based professional for investigative biomarker discovery efforts.
You'll work with urgency as part of a matrix team, implementing and executing experimental paradigms to advance biomarker identification and validation.
You'll participate in evolving the Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform within pRED.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* You will implement and execute targeted and untargeted protein assays to enable investigative biomarker discovery studies in liquid biopsies, in vitro model systems, and tissues;
* You will support multiple collaborations across therapeutic disease areas by generating and analyzing biomarker discovery and validation experiments, contribute to project reports, and engage with stakeholders to present findings;
* You will work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to general laboratory operations within the Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform; including instrument maintenance, experimental troubleshooting, and evaluating new technologies;
* You will embrace a continuous learning mindset by engaging with the scientific literature to stay abreast of emergent technologies/approaches in the biomarker discovery field.
Who You Are
You have a BS or MS degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field, with experience in biomarker discovery/validations, preferably in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
You have hands-on expertise in biochemical sample preparation workflows, high competency in LC-MS systems operation, and familiarity with targeted and untargeted workflows.
Familiarity with non-MS based technologies will be considered a plus.
You are familiar with processing, analysis, and interpretation of MS- and ideally also non-MS-based datastreams.

Excellent communication skills, high fluency in English, desire to build a personal network, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment are essential.
